PHT 5655 - Professional Formation VHours: 1 Students are exposed to management and financial practices, professional Codes of Ethics and Practice Acts, and healthcare and rehabilitation service delivery. The design and structure of rehabilitation clinics and niche practices are discussed. Other aspects of successful administration including supervision issues, ethical issues, and the development and implementation of outcome measures are emphasized. Professional Formation Seminar is a required component of each Professional Formation course, providing time for discussion, expansion of exposure, and engagement in topics of professionalism in physical therapist practice. It is intended to provide exposure to outside experts and provide time for additional development of professional interaction skills.
