Students in the MHS program take a total of 36 credits—21 credits of required core courses as well as 15 general elective credits or specialization credits. EDF 7050 or EDF 7050B is a foundation course in the Teaching & Learning specialization; students choose four additional courses within the specialization.

Students who choose the Teaching & Learning Specialization have the option to enter the MHS to EdD bridge program to earn their EdD in less time.
