PHT 5805 - Physical Therapist Practice II

This course expands on instruction from PHT 5802 , Physical Therapist Practice I, in the areas of patient/client management, PT documentation, and jurisprudence. Reimbursement issues, communication with other health care professionals, supervision, patient screening, and risk management across practice settings will be presented. Application of the concepts of patientpractitioner interaction, discharge planning, and standardized outcome measures will be provided. The roles of various health care practitione rs will be discussed.
