PHT 6120 - Myofascial Manipulation (MF1)Hours: 2 his course deals with the evaluation and treatment techniques of myofascial tissue. The emphasis is placed on the relationship of the soft tissue structures to the joints/mechanics of the spine. Principles of functional anatomy, posture, soft-tissue anatomy, both normal and pathological, biomechanics of soft tissue, and treatment principles are presented. A variety of treatment techniques are also presented, including an introduction to myofascial trigger-point dry needling. Prerequisite: Completion of the CPE seminar “Myofascial Manipulation (MF1),” offered by the University
