PAC 5145 - Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine

This course provides students with an overview of behavioral medicine with a focused study of mental health in primary care. Topics covered will include psychological development through the lifespan, detection and treatment of substance abuse, human sexuality, response to illness, injury and stress, and the identification of violence and abuse.
