PHT 5341C - Cardiovascular & Pulmonary IIHours: 2 This course builds on foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, exercise science, and Cardiovascular and Pulmonary I toward developing competencies for the essential knowledge and skills required of physical therapists within the prevention and management of common respiratory conditions across the continuum of care. Emphasis is placed on the components of physical therapy practice—screening, examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, development of a plan of care, intervention, and evaluation of outcomes. Course material is integrated in patient case studies and simulation experiences that integrate cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions.
